Bento Gonçalves | Rio Grande do Sul
When Nelson Civardi started producing custom-made furniture in the basemente of a house in Bairro Conceição, along with two other partners, he certainly could not have imagined what was to come. The combination of the three surnames of Nairo Demarchi, Nelson Civardi and Isidoro Baldo gave rise to Decibal, with 40 years of history. The motivation to make adapted and striking furniture, present in the best moments of life, gave rise to a consolidated brand, which remains a reference in the market.
From the basement to the national stage 1980 - 1987
In 1982 came the opening of the company Móveis Decibal Ltda and the growth of the business culminated in the dismissal of the basement and the acquisition of its own building three years later, also in Bento Gonçalves, when the company already had 15 employees.
The stabilization of Decibal came in 1987 when the company focused on the exclusive production of furniture in series, started the construction of a new headquarters, in the Industrial District of São Valentim (also in Bento Gonçalves) and now has 50 employees.
Móveis Civardi Foundation | Muçum 1992 - 2004
In 1992, another small industry was installed in the city of Muçum, giving rise to what is now the current headquarters of the company. Thus, Móveis Civardi Ltda was born. and the two companies began to operate under the name Grupo Decibal & Civardi, growing exponentially in the following years, mainly with the headquarters in Muçum, which received three extensions.
In 2004, Nelson Civardi acquires a majority stake in the companies, when the activities in the city of Muçum are unified, and the name Decibal Móveis is chosen.
In 2005, with the start of production of the bedroom line, until then the company had focused on the production and sale of kitchens, there was an increase in market demand and the need to build 2 new pavilions. At this time, the company already had 7 pavilions and 80 employees.
In 2008, the expansion of the business takes on other dimensions, with the inauguration of the 8th pavilion, reaching 18,200 m² of industrial park alone.
Investments in team building, in professional technical courses, in restructuring supervision and adapting to a new market reality marked the beginning of the 2010.
New Administrative Center 2013
Always in constant evolution, in 2013 another area of 17,000 m2 was acquired and the new administrative center was built in a wider area, with better accommodation and green area, in favor of a quality environment for employees, it was just the beginning of a transformation focused on people.
